Politzer Prize

Politzer 2026 Seoul will award the prestigious Politzer Prize to papers showcasing groundbreaking research in otology, encompassing both basic science and clinical studies.

  • A. Who Can Apply?

    • 1) The applicant must be under 40 years old as of November 4, 2026.
    • 2) The applicant must submit an abstract on the conference website and contribute with an oral presentation.
  • B. How to Apply?

    Abstract Topics
    Step 1 The applicant must submit an abstract for an oral presentation on the conference website.
    The abstract must be original and have not been published at the time of abstract submission.
    Step 2 At the bottom of the abstract submission page, check the box ‘I apply for Politzer Prize’.
    Step 3 Upload a copy of your passport.
    Step 4 The applicant must register for Politzer 2026 Seoul with full payment.
  • C. Award Presentation

    • The Politzer 2026 Seoul Scientific Committee will make a preliminary assessment on the abstracts applied for Politzer Prize, and the final nominees are invited to present at a competition session for the final evaluation.
    • Each winner will receive a prize during an official event of Politzer 2026 Seoul.

Travel Grant

We are awarding Travel Grant to excellent young colleagues who need financial assistance to attend Politzer 2026 Seoul and present their outstanding work as an oral or poster presentation. Please read the following instruction on how to apply and submit required documents by the abstract submission deadline.

  • A. Who Can Apply?

    • 1) The applicant must be under 40 years old as of November 4, 2026.
    • 2) The applicant must submit an abstract on the conference website and contribute with an oral or poster presentation.
    • 3) Priority may be given to applicants from low- or lower-middle-income countries.
  • B. How to Apply?

    Abstract Topics
    Step 1 The applicant must submit your abstract on the congress website.
    The abstract must be original and have not been published at the time of abstract submission.
    Step 2 At the bottom of the abstract submission page, check the box “I apply for the Politzer 2026 Seoul Travel Grant.”
    Step 3 Upload all 3 prerequisite documents below.
    1. 1) Curriculum vitae (PDF file, less than 4 pages)
    2. 2) Copy of your passport
    3. 3) Endorsement letter from the chair, professor or supervisor of your affiliation or department. (You must use the Politzer 2026 Seoul Endorsement Letter format. Please download it here.)
    Step 4 You must register for Politzer 2026 Seoul with full payment.

    Participants are encouraged to apply for both Politzer Prize and Travel Grant, and successful applicants will be awarded only ONE of these two funding.

  • C. Award Presentation

    • Select recipients will be awarded during the Closing Ceremony on November 7, 2026.
